As the principal and owner of Rising Tide Communications, she has managed national, multi-faceted campaigns offering a collaborative and transparent communication style to clients. Kate delivers both the conceptual and the analytic thinking, always framed by what moves consumers to act, do, choose and align. It’s hard to grab lunch with Kate in Anchorage, Seattle or New York without someone coming to your table to say hello.

Creative Director

Kerry forged her career in the contemporary art market, directing a gallery of 25 international artists. Kerry’s art background informs her expertise in producing, storytelling and brand development as well as her adept understanding of the nuances of visual communications. Her time spent in consumer packaged goods food marketing refocused her visual acumen towards brand management that employs design and aesthetics as a tools for strategic planning, messaging and content creation. Kerry is brimming over with obscure facts, making her an asset in a brainstorming meeting and a gem in a long car ride.


Senior Account Manager

Heather brings over a decade of experience working on diverse marketing and communications projects, from leading Alaska’s largest charitable giving program to managing competitive political campaigns. Influence is her sixth sense -- she sees undecided people and creates compelling strategies to bring them into the tent. She held top staff leadership positions in the Alaska Legislature and is an expert at turning multiple points of view into one coherent, unified voice. Heather makes great mix tapes, cakes and strategic campaign plans.


Media & Partnership Manager

Matt is Rising Tide’s first lower-48 team member, heading the Colorado office. He brings experience from working with many top brands in consumer PR, including Grundéns, Gerber, YETI, and Costa Del Mar. Matt has mastered the elements of public relations and can apply those skills to full-service assistance for clients – from content strategies to smart ad targeting, Matt’s mind is always on the why and what for. When he’s not scoring big press hits for clients, Matt runs his own wild Alaska salmon company Wild Alaska Direct. Additionally, he takes time off each summer to commercial fish in Bristol Bay.

Creative Coordinator

Natasha supports our creative process with her diverse talents. Her background in managing communications for Alaska businesses and nonprofits developed her ability to synthesize what a company needs to communicate and produce measurable results from their desired audience. A triple threat in design, copy writing and editing, Natasha transforms a brand’s story into covetable and engaging content, pinpointing the best of a brand’s story. In her other life, Natasha is the owner of boutique floral studio Paper Peony.

Account Coordinator

Alina is a recent graduate of the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a degree in fisheries and marketing. Working in Bristol Bay’s sockeye salmon fishery and experience in market research for the seafood industry enables Alina to communicate the complexity of Alaska’s seafood industry to a wide audience. She displays the hallmark qualities of a Rising Tider: curiosity, creativity and an independent streak a mile wide. She’s supporting our management team now, but watch out! We’re pretty sure Alina can do anything she wants.


Strategy Director

Christine is a master of strategic planning, executing campaigns with relentless attention to detail. She has shepherded the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute in-state account for nearly ten years and provides exceptional insight into the seafood industry and broader national food trends. She artfully executes projects that stay on time, on strategy and on budget for her clients. Christine and her husband are also Alaska commercial fishing permit and quota holders in Juneau, Alaska.
